Progress and Notifications

MotionMaster 3D tracks long-running jobs through an in-Blender Progress panel and cloud-backed job updates. Version 1.0.7 adds a real Cancel action for active Heavy, Dense, and Mesh process sequences.

Workflow steps

  1. Start a long-running Heavy, Dense, Mesh, Batch, or mask operation.
  2. Open MotionMaster 3D Progress to watch step-level state.
  3. For an active Heavy, Dense, or Mesh process, click Cancel and confirm.
  4. Preserve partial outputs by default, or explicitly enable deletion of the known partial result folder.
  5. Use the dashboard and email finish notifications when available.
  6. Review completion, failure, and cancellation states in Blender and logs.

Important details

Cancellation first requests normal process termination, waits briefly, and then force-kills the child process tree when needed. Modal timers stop and the job state becomes Cancelled instead of Failed.

Batch mode stops after the currently cancelled job and leaves remaining sequences unprocessed. Optional cleanup is restricted to recognized MotionMaster 3D result-folder names; source sequences, sibling folders, and readable logs are preserved.

Cloud job updates are queued asynchronously so Blender stays responsive and updates are throttled rather than sent constantly.
