Reset Workspace

Reset Workspace clears generated tracking and reconstruction outputs from the current sequence folder while preserving source image sequences. It helps avoid stale imports and confusing old result files.

Workflow steps

  1. Choose the active sequence or batch context.
  2. Review whether subfolders should be removed.
  3. Confirm the reset dialog.
  4. Rerun Quick, Heavy, Dense, Mesh, or import workflows with clean output.
  5. Keep original image frames intact.

Important details

Reset is useful after bad settings, failed reconstruction, noisy dense output, or experiments that left old files in the working folder.

The tool is intentionally confirmable because it removes generated data, but it should preserve the selected image sequence.

Heavy Tracking is the primary high-quality workflow for more reliable camera reconstruction. It is the right starting point when the shot needs strong solve quality, dense point clouds, mesh generation, masks, undistortion, or advanced settings.

Dense Point Cloud generation creates a high-detail colorized representation of the tracked scene from Heavy Tracking results. It is useful when sparse points are not enough to understand the environment.

Mesh Generation

Mesh Generation creates a reconstructed mesh from dense point cloud data. It is intended for reference geometry, proxy surfaces, and VFX layout rather than replacing final modeling in every shot.
