Reset Workspace

Reset Workspace clears generated tracking and reconstruction outputs from the current sequence folder while preserving source image sequences. It helps avoid stale imports and confusing old result files.

How to use it

  1. 1 Choose the active sequence or batch context.
  2. 2 Review whether subfolders should be removed.
  3. 3 Confirm the reset dialog.
  4. 4 Rerun Quick, Heavy, Dense, Mesh, or import workflows with clean output.
  5. 5 Keep original image frames intact.

Reset Panel

Every Quick or Heavy run writes result files into the footage folder. Over time old runs clutter the folder and make it easy to import the wrong result. The Reset panel removes everything that is not an image, so you can start again from clean footage.

What the panel shows

    Mode: Single Sequence works on the footage selected in Select Footage. With Batch Mode enabled, the panel switches to batch mode and lists every enabled sequence it will process.

    Target folder: the exact folder that will be cleaned. Check it before you continue.
  • •
    Also delete subfolders: removes result subfolders as well as loose files. Leave it off to keep subfolders.

Running a reset

Click the red Reset button. A confirmation dialog lists every file that will be deleted, so you can check the list and cancel if something should stay. Your image sequence is always kept.

This cannot be undone. Once you confirm, the files are gone. Copy any result you want to keep, such as a good solve or an exported calibration, before resetting.

Technical notes

Reset is useful after bad settings, failed reconstruction, noisy dense output, or experiments that left old files in the working folder.

The tool is intentionally confirmable because it removes generated data, but it should preserve the selected image sequence.
