Import Results

Import Results separates processing from scene import. Scan one folder to choose among indexed Quick, Heavy, Tripod, Planar, Dense, or Mesh results and to scope the solved-lens source used by calibration and STMap export.

Workflow steps

  1. Choose a sequence result folder or regular sequence folder.
  2. Scan to detect Quick, Heavy, Tripod, Planar, Dense, Mesh, and undistorted outputs.
  3. Expand a result type and select the exact indexed run you need.
  4. For Heavy results, use the Heavy panel Solved Result dropdown to choose which run supplies lens calibration and STMaps.
  5. Keep Smart Importer enabled for Heavy workflows when possible.
  6. Import the selected outputs, then clean and align them as needed.

Important details

Smart Importer preserves source frame numbering and gaps so imported camera animation stays aligned with the footage.

Selecting a Heavy result such as heavy_track_result_2 makes that run the active lens source. The dropdown lists the Heavy alternatives inside the folder currently scanned by Import Results, so a later run does not silently override an earlier calibration.

Tripod imports restore rotation keys and the camera adjustment rig. Planar imports can publish a Corner Pin, an editable native Plane Track, and either a camera-parented animated 3D plane (Object Motion) or a fixed plane plus animated camera (Camera Motion) at the chosen Plane Depth. Failed or cancelled result folders are not offered as importable solves; result JSON is authoritative, so outputs can be recreated without rerunning feature tracking. License-locked result types remain visible but cannot be imported by an ineligible account.
